Big guns set to descend on Caribbean as CPL eyes star-studded 2026 edition

BRIDGETOWN, Bar­ba­dos — Crick­et fans across the re­gion can ex­pect some fa­mil­iar faces in this year’s Caribbean Pre­mier League (CPL), which is shap­ing up to be a fire­works dis­play of in­ter­na­tion­al tal­ent, with tour­na­ment or­gan­is­ers promis­ing a slew of “big names” ahead of the up­com­ing sea­son.

In an ex­clu­sive in­ter­view with Ma­son and Guest, Pe­ter Miller, PR Man­ag­er of the CPL, re­vealed that fans can ex­pect a flur­ry of play­er an­nounce­ments with­in weeks, and a dis­tinct Ki­wi flavour to boot.

“I’m hope­ful that it’ll be in the next two to three weeks, and we’ll be able to start re­leas­ing those names,” Miller said. “Ide­al­ly, every­one will know every­body who’s com­ing by Ju­ly, for cer­tain.”
