A High Court Judge has or­dered the re­lease of an at­tor­ney held for al­leged­ly har­bour­ing the man sus­pect­ed of the bru­tal mur­der of 22-year-old Can­dace Hon­ore.

Jus­tice Na­dia Kan­ga­loo or­dered the at­tor­ney’s re­lease as she up­held his habeas cor­pus writ yes­ter­day evening.

In the le­gal ap­pli­ca­tion, the at­tor­ney’s lawyer Bhi­mal Ma­hara­jh called on the T&T Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS) to jus­ti­fy his client’s pro­tract­ed de­ten­tion.
