CHIEF PERSONNEL OFFICER (CPO) Dr Daryl Dindial met with the new president of the TT Police Service Social Welfare Association (TTPSSWA), Ishmael Pitt, and the executive at the Personnel Department on December 9.

A statement from the CPO’s office, on December 9, said the meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to engage in constructive dialogue and strengthen lines of communication.

It added that Dindial said that, although the discussions were not formal negotiations, the association raised several key issues, including the job evaluation exercise, pension reform, the group health plan and a possible timeline for resuming negotiations.
