Farmers in Orange Grove say favourable weather is currently supporting crop production, but they remain cautious about the potential impact of El Niño on the local food supply.
This follows an announcement by the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service that drought-like conditions associated with El Niño are expected to persist through the remainder of 2026.
