A 47-year-old BarĀrackĀpore man died and a woman was inĀjured afĀter they were hit by a van on Rochard Road, PeĀnal, on FriĀday night.
PoĀlice said Habib John and Ann Marie CoĀdringĀton Mitchell were walkĀing near PlaĀtanĀite Trace around 7:10 p.m. when they were struck by a white Kia K2700 driĀven by a 33-year-old PeĀnal man.
John died at the scene. CoĀdringĀton Mitchell was takĀen to the San FerĀnanĀdo GenĀerĀal HosĀpiĀtal, where she reĀmains in staĀble conĀdiĀtion.
