Man fatally shot by police along Spanish Town Bypass, INDECOM investigating

A probe has been launched by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) into the fatal shooting of a man by the police along the Spanish Town Bypass in St Catherine on Saturday.
The police have identified the deceased as Juwayne Powell, otherwise called âFully Badâ and âJohn Whipâ, of Spanish Town.
According to police reports, about 6:12 p.m., they received information that a man armed with a gun was travelling from the Capture Land community towards the bypass.
