“He needs to pray or needs prayers.”

That was the comment yesterday from Trade Minister Paula Gopee-Scoon on the decision of her former colleague, former minister Kennedy Swaratsingh, to endorse UNC political leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

Swaratsingh appeared on the UNC platform on Thursday night, and expressed his willingness to offer ideas as a “finance professional” to improve the country’s economic situation.
