A stu­dent of Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege, Ch­agua­nas, has been se­lect­ed to rep­re­sent Trinidad and To­ba­go at the 2026 Na­tion­al Youth Sci­ence Camp (NYSCamp) in the Unit­ed States.

The U.S. Em­bassy in Port of Spain and the Na­tion­al In­sti­tute of High­er Ed­u­ca­tion, Re­search, Sci­ence and Tech­nol­o­gy (NI­HERST) an­nounced that Khavir Man­bode will at­tend the pres­ti­gious three-week res­i­den­tial sci­ence, tech­nol­o­gy, en­gi­neer­ing and math­e­mat­ics (STEM) pro­gramme in West Vir­ginia from Ju­ly 11 to Au­gust 1.

Spon­sored by the U.S. De­part­ment of State and im­ple­ment­ed by the Na­tion­al Youth Sci­ence Acad­e­my, the camp brings to­geth­er out­stand­ing sec­ondary school stu­dents to en­gage with lead­ing STEM pro­fes­sion­als, ex­plore emerg­ing fields and par­tic­i­pate in hands-on sci­en­tif­ic and out­door learn­ing ex­pe­ri­ences de­signed to fos­ter lead­er­ship, in­no­va­tion and aca­d­e­m­ic ex­cel­lence.
