A student of Presentation College, Chaguanas, has been selected to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the 2026 National Youth Science Camp (NYSCamp) in the United States.
The U.S. Embassy in Port of Spain and the National Institute of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (NIHERST) announced that Khavir Manbode will attend the prestigious three-week residential science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programme in West Virginia from July 11 to August 1.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and implemented by the National Youth Science Academy, the camp brings together outstanding secondary school students to engage with leading STEM professionals, explore emerging fields and participate in hands-on scientific and outdoor learning experiences designed to foster leadership, innovation and academic excellence.
