NA Mayor engages First Lady on Esplanade Park upgrades

(Kaieteur News) – First Lady Arya Ali last Wednesday visited several recreational parks in Regions Five (Mahaica-Berbice) and Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) as part of countrywide inspections of facilities that fall under the purview of the Office of the First Lady.

Under the office’s National Beautification Project, new development ideas for the next phase of beautification have been earmarked for Novar, Blairmont, Woodlands Bel Air, Woodlands Farm and Belladrum in Region Five.

In Region Six, the No. 63 Beach Recreational Space is among the projects soon to be launched. Other locations include Line Path (Block 19), Skeldon Health Centre, Number 78 Race Course, Bush Lot, Whim, Ankerville, Nigg, No. 19 Kendal, Canefield and the New Amsterdam Esplanade Park.
