CRIMINOLOGIST Dr Daurius Figueira has called for the gangs in Trinidad and Tobago who pose a threat of unification against law enforcement to be named.
This follows Prime Minister Kamla Persad- Bissessar's statement on Saturday that local gangs were called upon to unite amid protest action. The Prime Minister made reference to what she said was a 'sick and evil' call for local gangs to unify against law enforcement that she alleged was being pedalled by protesters who gathered last week in Port of Spain.
The protests, prompted by the police- involved killing of Joshua Samaroo and the recent decision to lay charges against his common-law wife Kaia Sealy.
