Head of the Crim­i­nal Bar As­so­ci­a­tion (CBA), Se­nior Coun­sel Is­rael Khan, is call­ing for the Chief Jus­tice Ivor Archie to re­sign say­ing he's brought the le­gal fra­ter­ni­ty in­to dis­re­pute.

Al­though Khan had a laun­dry list of griev­ances against the CJ, the lat­est was his han­dling of the Mar­cia Ay­ers-Cae­sar case where the Privy Coun­cil ruled the for­mer high court judge was un­law­ful­ly forced to re­sign.

If the Chief Jus­tice does not re­sign, Khan is call­ing on the Prime Min­is­ter to trig­ger the tri­bunal as stat­ed in the con­sti­tu­tion to de­ter­mine if he should be re­moved.
