A district constable who was allegedly caught while trying to hide $400,000 she stole from a colleague was granted bail in the sum of $500,000 when she appeared in the St Andrew Parish Court on Thursday.
The district constable, 31-year-old Shaneek Plummer of Innswood Village, St Catherine, is charged with simple larceny and possession of criminal property.
Reports are that between 6:00 am and 6:30 am on Monday, a constable stationed at the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID) temporarily left a bag containing more that $650,000 cash in his office to use the restroom.
