A woman was arrested in San Fernando on Monday after she was allegedly seen throwing a cigarette onto the roadway.
Police officers patrolling in Carlton Centre Shopping Centre allegedly observed the suspect discarding the cigarette in a public area before approaching her.
Video footage of the incident showed a uniformed police officer speaking for several minutes to the woman about the cigarette before another uniformed police officer arrested her.
