A review of the Ministry of Health’s Chronic Disease Assistance Programme (CDAP) has been completed and recommendations are now being considered by Cabinet, Health Minister Dr Lackram Bodoe said on Monday night.
This, Bodoe said, means that the programme which provides free prescription drugs for citizens with chronic illnesses, would be upgraded with new and new medications added.
Speaking at the United National Congress (UNC) Monday night forum in Penal, Bodoe said recommendations were also made to reduce the cost to pharmacies participating in the programme.
