Urgent action needed at Ardenne Road

I am writing to bring urgent attention to the severe daily traffic congestion surrounding Ardenne High School located at 10 Ardenne Road.

During peak drop-off and pick-up hours, the volume of vehicles completely overwhelms this vital corridor, causing major gridlock that severely affects Hope Road, East King’s House Road, Lady Musgrave Road, Hamilton Drive, Lord Nelson Way, and surrounding areas in St Andrew.

The current situation is no longer just an inconvenience; it is a major safety hazard. In efforts to get where they are going, motorists engage in illegal and dangerous behaviour. Vehicles turning from Hope Road onto Ardenne Road regularly block traffic attempting to travel past Ardenne Road, causing traffic to back up for hundreds of metres.
