Beckles heads to UN General Assembly

Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles has travelled to New York to attend high-level meetings and events being held alongside the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Beckles is expected to participate in discussions on women’s representation, gender-based violence, innovation and the future.

On Wednesday, she will receive the Champion for Women in Innovation Award at the launch of Women in Innovation.
