Thieves targeted the basement carpark at One Woodbrook Place twice in recent weeks, stealing two vehicles belonging to visitors, including a police officer.
On Monday evening, the police officer discovered his Toyota Aqua valued at $45,000, missing. He had parked and securely locked the vehicle at the carpark around 8:06 p.m., but when he returned at approximately 9:30 p.m., the car was gone.
In a similar incident, a St. Joseph woman also lost her vehicle from the same carpark. The 50-year-old had parked and locked her Nissan B14 on Sunday, November 30, around 7:30 a.m., but when she returned at 4 p.m., the car had vanished.
