The PoÂlice SerÂvice ComÂmisÂsion (PolSC) is exÂpectÂing to give its reÂport on PoÂlice ComÂmisÂsionÂer AlÂlisÂter GueÂvarÂro soon, says chairÂman Dr WenÂdell WalÂlace.
In a brief inÂterÂview with Guardian MeÂdia yesÂterÂday, WalÂlace said “all quesÂtions” perÂtainÂing to the comÂmisÂsion’s ratÂing of GueÂvarÂro would be anÂswered in a meÂdia reÂlease but did not say when the reÂlease will be isÂsued.
GueÂvarÂro celÂeÂbratÂed his first anÂniverÂsary on June 18. He was apÂpointÂed as CoP on June 17, with his role takÂing efÂfect from June 18, 2025. The apÂpointÂment folÂlowed the comÂpleÂtion of a reÂcruitÂment and seÂlecÂtion process conÂductÂed by the PSC that beÂgan in April 2024.
