WASHINGTON, United States (CMC) — The World Bank Group on Tuesday announced the appointment of Jamaican-born Judith Green as country manager for Barbados and Eastern Caribbean States, effective September 1, this year.
Green, who will be based in Barbados, will represent the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA).
The Washington-based financial institution said that she will also be working with governments and the private sector to advance job creation and sustainable development across the sub-region.
