T&T Un­der-14 foot­ballers will go in­to their fi­nal match in Tier I Group B against French Guiana to­day from 1.30 pm in a must-win sit­u­a­tion af­ter suf­fer­ing a 4-1 loss to Haiti in their sec­ond match of the Caribbean Foot­ball Union Chal­lenge Se­ries in Pun­ta Cana, Do­mini­can Re­pub­lic Tuesday

Com­ing off a 1-1 draw with Puer­to Ri­co on Mon­day, the Ran­dolph Boyce-coached T&T boys fell be­hind as ear­ly as the fourth minute via a Jode­ley Del­mas’ free kick be­fore Wens­ley Du­morne dou­bled Haiti’s ad­van­tage in the 26th minute while Jer­ry Pe­tit-Homme then added a third with a long-range ef­fort in the 35th minute, giv­ing Haiti a 3-0 lead at half­time.

T&T pulled a goal back through Ji­air Nan­ton from the penal­ty spot af­ter the restart, but Haiti re­mained firm­ly in con­trol with Pe­tit-Homme com­plet­ing his brace in the 67th minute to re­store the three-goal cush­ion and se­cure all three points.
