Paulette Trowers celebrates Grammy consideration for How Yuh Know Mi

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Songwriter and executive producer Paulette Trowers is celebrating a new milestone after How Yuh Know Mi, the album that transforms her personal experiences into music, was accepted for Best Reggae Album consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards.
For Trowers, the achievement adds another chapter to a project whose first measure of success was simply seeing it through to completion.
“I had done my homework, but nothing was guaranteed,” she said. “When the acceptance came, I felt exhilarated—yes, we did it! I’m eternally grateful to God and the team who helped bring my stories to life.”
