Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro and acting Prisons Commissioner Hayden Forde have called for faith and unity as law enforcement works to restore peace across the country.
Speaking yesterday at the T&T Police Service’s Worship, Word and Warfare Forum at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, Guevarro told the crowd, “The nation is in need of healing,” and urged the public to “get some blessings” despite the rain.
“It is the TTPS and the law enforcement personnel that are charged with bringing that healing to this nation, and returning lawfulness where lawlessness exists,” he said, adding, “We intend to bring peace to the nation and we intend to do so in the name of Jesus.”
