CHAGUANAS Mayor Faaiq Mohammed has given the assurance that the Chaguanas Market will be upgraded and all efforts made to integrate vendors who were displaced from the former health centre site.
This follows ongoing complaints by vendors that conditions at the facility continue to deteriorate, including the washroom area.
Speaking to the Express yesterday, a number of vendors called on the Chaguanas Borough Corporation to crack down some of their peers who they said were occupying more stalls than allowed.
