With just two weeks until the general election, Chaguanas market vendors are calling for better representation in addressing their issues at the market.
A number of vendors spoke with the Express yesterday at the Chaguanas market.
Putan Subar, a vendor for 20 years, said, “To be honest, I would like to see more accountability (for) the lawlessness it has in the market because the (number) of years I selling, before it was better. However, he noted that while the market is a good facility, it lacks proper management, adding, “It is in a mess sometimes.”
