Labour Ministry dismisses circulating ROOFS beneficiary list as false

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has dismissed as false and misleading information circulating online purporting to show beneficiary records under its Restoration of Owner or Occupant Family Shelters (ROOFS) assistance programme.
The Ministry, in a statement on Thursday, said the table being shared does not reflect accurate or official beneficiary records and should not be regarded as authentic information from the ministry.

It said the Ministry has taken steps to address the matter, including requesting the removal or correction of the misleading information to prevent further circulation.
