KINGSTON, Jamaica — Member of Parliament (MP) for Clarendon Northern, Wavell Hinds, has lamented that despite writing to Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie on two occasions, “the people of Clarendon Northern have not received even the dignity of a response”.
“I find that deeply concerning,” Hinds added as he addressed the matter in the Parliament on November 3 during his contribution to the State of the Constituency Debate.
Hinds told the Parliament that a fire station was needed in light of a what he described as a growing concern that demands urgent attention – the occurrence of numerous bush fires across the rural constituency.
