Jamaicans are being urged to brace for increased rainfall over the next few days as a broad trough is expected to bring unstable weather conditions across the island from Friday morning through Sunday.

Consequently, periods of showers and thunderstorms, which may be heavy at times, are forecast to affect most parishes, particularly those in eastern and central Jamaica, through Sunday.
