TEN-YEAR-OLD Ethan Ferguson of Buccoo, Tobago has made his family and community proud with his outstanding performance in the 2026 Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination, sitting the examination while he was in Standard Four and passing for his first choice.
Ethan sat the SEA examination privately after expressing a desire to write the examination alongside his older sister, Amelia, who was preparing for it. Believing he was academically ready, his parents, Mai Ferguson (a Tatil Life financial advisor) and Dr Ferguson made the decision to register both children privately for the 2026 SEA examination.
The school choices were Scarborough Secondary School, Bishop's High School and Signal Hill Secondary School.
