The fourth annual Screenwriters’ Workshop hosted by Strike Star Entertainment is set to take place over two days from September 15-16 at Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.

The workshop, which is designed to introduce young and aspiring professionals to the film industry, will feature a keynote address by respected American film director Benny Boom.

Other presenters and panellists include Vanessa Ballesteros (television producer and showrunner); actor John Chambers; producer, writer and executive Marvin Peart; Soyini Chang, entrepreneur, strategist, and creative executive; Morris Sinclair, cultural entrepreneur and project strategist; screenwriter Tyrone Rashard; John Buffalo Mailer, producer, screenwriter, journalist and playwright; Bryce Wilson, formerly of the music duo Groove Theory and a creative director, actor and producer; actor Djimon Hounsou; editor Olivia Rutigliano; and Cess Silvera, director, producer and screenwriter.
