Hundreds of cricket fans lined up for hours yesterday outside the Queen’s Park Oval box office in Port of Spain to try to buy tickets for Trinbago Knight Riders’ home fixtures in the 2026 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

It was disappointment for many as the Express understands that physical tickets for TKR matches against Guyana Amazon Warriors on August 31 and Jamaica Kingsmen on August 29 sold out before noon.

Many patrons complained about the long lines, what they described as poor organisation, and the need for more ticket depots and the possibility of not getting tickets for the desired matches.
