The legacy of Pan-Africanist leader the Right Excellent Marcus Garvey is being revisited in Barbados, 89 years after he addressed hundreds of Barbadians at the Queen’s Park Steel Shed.
Sir Marcus’ son, Dr Julius Garvey, joined Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley for a fireside discussion examining his father’s legacy, the struggle for self-determination and the responsibility of future generations.
