The issues of how legacy media can cope with the impact of diminishing advertising revenue, social media influencers and the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), were central to the discussion on Day 1 of the Caribbean Media Summit 2026.
Hosted by the Media Institute of the Caribbean at the TT Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Westmoorings on May 28, 2026, several panelists who spoke on the topic “Media Viability in the Age of AI”, agreed that the current landscape is very challenging if not gloomy.
