Police are tonight investigating the death of one of their former colleagues, constable Russell Bedasse.

Bedassee, who resigned from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) following the death of his mother in September, was found dead at his home at Coromandel Village, Cedros, on Tuesday evening.

Police say preliminary investigations indicate that he died by suicide.
