A man of Hispanic descent has died following a late-night road traffic accident involving a motorcycle on Bejucal Road, Cunupia.

The fatal incident occurred around 12:40 a.m. on Saturday when the unidentified man rode his bicycle out of the car park of Friends Bar and into the path of an eastbound motorcycle.

Both the cyclist and the motorcyclist were injured and transported to the Mt. Hope Hospital by Emergency Health Services (EHS) personnel before police arrived. Officers later received confirmation from hospital staff that the cyclist had died following emergency surgery.
