Popular restaurant and bar, D’Bocas, is downsizing to just a restaurant due to the deteriorating economic climate in Port of Spain and increased taxes on alcohol, tobacco and gambling.
Owner Laird Agard told the Express yesterday that the business is being restructured as it has not been sustainable over the past two months.
Speaking with the Express via telephone, Agard said declining foot traffic and the erosion of nightlife in the capital had significantly affected operations.
