The police in St James on Thursday seized more than 400 rounds of ammunition and a gun, and made several arrests during a series of operations.
The operations were carried out by personnel from the National Strategic Anti-Gang Division (NSAD) and the St James Division.
The police reported that about 2:00 p.m., lawmen assigned to NSAD were conducting an operation at Fairview in Montego Bay when they signalled the driver of a grey Toyota Fortuner motor truck to stop.
