President Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali said the planned gas bottling plant in Wales, Region Three, is part of a long-term investment to reduce cooking gas costs for households.
Speaking at his press conference on Monday, the president said the investment in the new gas bottling facility is one of several measures being pursued to reduce long-term costs across the country.
The proposed Guyana Gas Bottling and Logistics Company (GGBLC) is being developed as part of the wider Gas-to-Energy development at Wales and is intended to bottle, transport and distribute liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for domestic use.
