Pedestrian killed in St George collision

A pedestrian was killed in a collision involving a public service vehicle along Walkers Road, St George, on Tuesday evening.He has been identified as 61-year-old Phillip Greaves of Thropes Cottage, St George.Police said the collision occurred around 6:15 p.m. as the PSV and Greaves were travelling along Walkers Road from the direction of Carmichael towards the Glebe.Greaves died at the scene.Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact the District ‘B’ Police Station at 437-4311 or 430-7625.Investigations are continuing.
