KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Blaise Bicknell final hopes of glory were dashed as he and his doubles partner Andrew Fenty withdrew from their match against the Brazilian pair of Bruno Oliveira and Natan Rodriques on Wednesday night.
Blaise, who lost both singles at the ATP Kingston 1 and 2 events, was hoping for a good run in the doubles but the Observer Online understood Fenty wanted to concentrate on his upcoming single match on Thursday evening against Brazilian Guto Miguel for a spot in the semi-finals.
In other doubles games, the Australian pair of Calum Puttergill and Ajeet Rai defeated Ivan Liutarevich of Belarus and Miguel Reyes-Varela of Mexico 5-7, 6-3, 13-11.
