A blog­ger and for­mer ra­dio host has been charged with sedi­tion af­ter a post on so­cial me­dia al­leged­ly in­vit­ed for­eign par­ties to tar­get the of­fi­cial res­i­dence of the Prime Min­is­ter.

The Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice said Krys­tle Hor­wood ap­peared be­fore Mas­ter Mo­hammed at the Port-of-Spain High Court yes­ter­day, where the charge was laid sum­mar­i­ly and she plead­ed not guilty.

Af­ter hear­ing sub­mis­sions, the court grant­ed Hor­wood bail in the sum of $100,000 with a sure­ty.
