Public Utilities Minister Barry Padarath has dismissed suggestions that the recent resignations of two directors from the Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) board were linked to internal disagreements or governance issues, insisting the departures were prompted by professional commitments outside the company.
He said there was “nothing sinister” behind the resignations of Nadira Prabhudial and Kyle Maloney.
“It was essentially because of the positions they hold in their substantive jobs. There were conflicts in terms of scheduling and workload,” he said.
