Declaring that the Opposition People’s National Movement (PNM) would not be intimidated by the investigation into Balisier House, chairman Marvin Gonzales burnt a court order in front of supporters during an address on Thursday night.

Addressing supporters gathered outside the party’s Balisier headquarters in Port of Spain, Gonzales accused the Government of using State institutions to target the Opposition and insisted the legal action over Balisier House was politically motivated.

“We will not be afraid of this order because the PNM, ladies and gentlemen, is not only in brick and concrete and mortar; the PNM lives in the heart and the dreams of every single citizen of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago,” Gonzales told supporters insisting that the Government could burn down the building or rip it apart if it wants.
