KINGSTON, Jamaica — A lawman who claimed two men were trying to disarm him when he shot them, killing one and wounding the other, has been charged with murder.
Corporal Randy Campbell appeared in court on Wednesday, having been charged in a 2025 incident investigated by the Independent Commission of Investigations (Indecom).
Campbell’s charges of murder and wounding with intent arise from an off-duty shooting incident resulting in the death of Kyron Cameron and injury of another man on April 29, 2025, in Granville, St James.
