PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC) – A businessman from the British Virgin Islands and two Saint Lucians have been detained in Trinidad and Tobago following the seizure of approximately 416.5 kilogrammes of cocaine valued at TT$193.5 million (One TT dollar = US$ 0.16).
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) said the 42-year-old businessman and the Saint Lucians, aged 38 and 37, were arrested during an intelligence-led operation in the Longdenville Police District.
Their names have not been released.
