The Georgetown Mayor and City Council (M&CC) is examining the need for more frequent garbage collections in sections across the capital city, as population growth and increased waste generation place greater pressure on the existing system.
The issue was raised during a recent statutory meeting of the council, where officials said most constituencies currently receive one garbage clearance daily, while Central Georgetown receives two.
