Government Minister Anil Roberts has called on St Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves to answer questions on how his wife, son and daughter were all “lucky” to obtain three separate subsidised Housing Development Corporation (HDC) homes in Trinidad.
He also questioned whether Prime Minister Gonsalves had declared his family assets in accordance with the laws of his country. In his daily “Doubles and Coffee” on social media yesterday, Roberts—a Government senator and Minister in the Ministry of Housing—referred to documents that link the Gonsalves family members to HDC homes.
He began his 15-minute video stating that Gonsalves has been “disrespectful” to Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and had taken issue with her support of the United States’ actions against narco-traffickers.
