PresÂiÂdent DonÂald Trump on ThursÂday ofÂfered rare critÂiÂcism of Vladimir Putin, urgÂing the RussÂian leader to âSTOP!â afÂter a deadÂly barÂrage of atÂtacks on Kyiv, Ukraineâs capÂiÂtal.
âI am not hapÂpy with the RussÂian strikes on KYIV. Not necÂesÂsary, and very bad timÂing. Vladimir, STOP! 5,000 solÂdiers a week are dyÂing,â Trump said in a post on his Truth SoÂcial platÂform. âLetâs get the Peace Deal DONE!â
RusÂsia struck Kyiv with an hours-long barÂrage of misÂsiles and drones. At least nine peoÂple were killed and more than 70 inÂjured in the deadÂliest asÂsault on the city since last JuÂly.
