PubĀlic UtilĀiĀties MinĀisĀter BarĀry Padarath has deĀfendĀed state-owned TelecomĀmuĀniĀcaĀtions SerĀvices of Trinidad and ToĀbaĀgo (TSTT) against reĀcent alĀleĀgaĀtions by the ComĀmuĀniĀcaĀtions WorkĀersā Union (CWU), disĀmissĀing the claims as āweekĀly boĀgeys that are neiĀther facĀtuĀal nor coĀherĀent.ā
SpeakĀing hours afĀter the unionās meĀdia conĀferĀence yesĀterĀday, Padarath said the unionās reĀpeatĀed critĀiĀcisms lacked evĀiĀdence and subĀstance.
āThese tirades by the CWU secĀreĀtary genĀerĀal, Joanne Ogeer, are mostĀly cloudĀed in mauĀvaise langue and perĀsonĀal inĀsults, withĀout any baĀsis or evĀiĀdence,ā he said.
