Enmore, on the East Coast of Demerara (ECD), is being positioned as a key industrial and manufacturing hub under the Government’s Model Village Initiative, with several Private Sector investments expected to commence in the community.
Speaking during Thursday’s community consultation, President Dr Irfaan Ali said Enmore’s development strategy differs from that of the other pilot communities because of its significant growth potential.
As part of the initiative, a team of Government Ministers is expected to return to Enmore within the next two weeks to encourage young people to register with the Guyana Development Bank and access financing opportunities.
