Patients in shock over NCRHA claims of gangsterism, extortion

Patients have expressed shock and concern over allegations of gangsterism, intimidation, bullying, extortion, and gang affiliation within the North Central Regional Health Authority’s Patient Escort and Hospital Attendant Services.

The Express visited the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope, yesterday and spoke with people as they arrived at the facility.

One person said the allegations were difficult to believe, particularly because they involved public hospitals.
